Leek Auto Extravaganza found space for a few Fords

Along with seeing the latest progress on Ju’s Mk1 we were able to catch up with Paul’s Signal Mk2 Mexico

More progress On Ju’s Mexico, rolling and ready for engine box and final build up! Still not sure if it looks better with or without the stripes, need to make  decision soon! Hopefully the next few moths should see it all come together.

Is there anything worse than hours stuck in a shell seam welding…… Err yes prepping ready for paint!! The only good bit is deciding what colour! Decisions, Decisions. All the welding now complete, next job paint then on to the best bit of bolting bits back on!

This was my first visit to Catton Hall Classic Car show, Catton Hall in Derbyshire just below Burton upon Trent was a great setting and saw a really good turnout of all kinds of classics, including plenty of Fords!

Dave’s Shell is back from having the cage fitted, and its a lovely job!!

Added a few more bits to the shop

At last a break from the welding! With nearly Three Quarters of the shell welding done its time to get the cage fitted. If all goes to plan the cage should be finished in a few weeks, then almost, almost ready for paint!
